Edwin Corne is a Chinese-Australian jazz guitarist based in New
York City. As a graduate of The New School and The Juilliard School, he has performed at such venues as Birdland, Dizzy's Club, and Alice Tully Hall, as well as around the globe, including Ceiba Studio in Guadalajara, The JZ Club in Shanghai, and The Lazybones Lounge in Sydney.
At The New School, he was a recipient of
John and Alice Coltrane Award of Excellence, granted to select young artists for extraordinary achievement in music.
Edwin leads his own trio performing jazz standards as well as adaptations of renown Chinese compositions. His debut album, featuring Luke Sellick on bass and Charles Goold on drums, will be released on September 6th, 2025.
